So, the name “Interventions and Lullabies” comes directly from the album title of a now-defunct band called The Format (the lead singer went on to form a very popular band called FUN, in case you’re interested).
I’ve been using it as my blog name since the age of 16 and have now decided to switch over to something else, because a) copying someone else’s title is essentially plagiarism (ahem) and b) my blog was both difficult to find and not exactly representative of me outside of making a statement about the type of music I enjoy.
With that said, I present to you “Northern demoiselle”, in recognition of my francophone and northern Ontario roots. From now on, my posts will be made here; all content from the old blog has been transferred over, and I will be deleting it shortly.
